This map of the Ocmulgee River Watershed Management Plan study area provides links to documents addressing the overall watershed health of each subwatershed. These documents provide information on protecting each subwatershed and have additional links to recommended best management practices (BMPs) and resources for land conservation, wetlands protection and enhancement, forestry management, agricultural community involvement, construction site runoff control and public education/outreach, as appropriate for that subwatershed.
To use this map, simply place your cursor on the particular subwatershed (outlined in green) that interests you and left-click your mouse. The linked document will be brought up as a Word® document. Also, as you pass your cursor over each subwatershed, you will see the Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) for that area displayed in a small “pop-up” screen.
