PlanBuilder: Before You Start

The initial rollout of PlanBuilder is intended to provide Georgia communities and their planners a simple and convenient way to prepare and review their Short Term Work Programs (STWP) on-line.

STWP is part of the Implementation Element of the Comprehensive Plan.  All local governments are required to provide updates to the STWP every five years.  STWP updates due in October of this year are encouraged to use PlanBuilder and the STWP tools to prepare their STWP for review by DCA.  All STWP updates due in February of 2002 and later will be required to be in PlanBuilder format on-line.
